Does butterfly flies above the cloud?

      The answer is " yes ".  Not all the butterfly flies above the clouds.  But, the Monarch Butterfly flies.  It flies nearly 11,000 feet above from the ground.  It seems that, it will fly above some clouds.

Why our Earth is round in shape?

         First, we should understand about gravity.  Consider we playing cricket in the ground.   When we hit the ball, it goes up and falls down.  We may think, why it falling down rather going up?  Also we may think, it doesn't have wings to fly😂.  But the actual reason is gravity .      Gravity is a kind of force that pulls the cricket ball to the ground.  Not only our earth, each and every planet having its own gravity .     ( For example, The Sun .  It's huge, when compared to our Earth.  So, it pulls other planet.  But the planets won't fall on Sun.  Because, we know that planets are all moving.  So, the balance between force of gravity and speed of the moments makes them to revolve around the Sun. )      That gravity pulls from the centre to all the edges of the Earth , like a bicycle wheel.   So, our Earth is looking like round in shape.        Not exactly as round in shape.  Because of spinning of the planets , the equator get bulge.  The distance from the centre

How Thunder forms? (Simple Experimental way)

     Before that we should know, how lightning forms.  If you want to know about that, kindly visit my previous post.      While raining we can hear heavy sound from the sky.  We all experienced that sound(thunder) after lightning.  We may think, how sound comes from the sky?      Let us see the answer, and let us discuss in simple experimental way .  Take a plastic cover, fill it up with air.  Twist the open end in your hand or tie it.  By hitting the cover, we can hear a kind of sound.  We all experienced that but we may not know how the sound produced.        While hitting the cover, the air inside the cover get compress very quickly .  And the pressure get increases .  That high pressure breaks the cover.  The air inside the cover rushes out.  And the air continuous to move forward as a wave.  When that wave reaches our ears, we can hear the sound.        Another example, we can do this simple experiment by using balloon.      Thunder is also produced in a same way.  Due to lightn

How lightning forms?

      Before going to the topic, we should know about few details about charges.  There are two types of charges, that is positive and negative charges .  Each and every thing has charges, it may be positive or negative.  Positive charges attract negative charges, positive charges repel positive charges and negative charges repel negative charges.        Now come to the question.  Actually, lightning formed by the thunder clouds .  Lightning is a form of electricity .  How it forms?      Thunder cloud consist of both positive and negative charges but separately.  High number of Positive charges are settle at top and high number of negative charges settle at bottom due to heavy wind in the cloud .  If both charges get contact, either the charges in same cloud or different cloud.  At that time, lightning happens.      You may ask, then how lightning falls at the top of the building tower? or how it falls on trees, people, etc,...?     In the Earth, so many objects having positive charge

White colour gives rainbow colours. Can rainbow colours give white colour?

     Actually, we know that white colour gives rainbow colours.  If you want to know more about rainbow and its formation.  Kindly, check my previous post.        Now, come to the question.  Can rainbow colours give white colour?  The answer is YES .  We can understand by Newton disc method .  We can do this experiment in our home.      Take a disc shape sheet and give rainbow colours around it.  Make a hole at the centre of disc.  Put a stick in the centre to hold the disc.  Now, rotate the disc faster as much possible.  You can observe almost white colour.      If you have a prism, give rainbow colours to the prism.  We can get white colour as a output.      

How Rainbow forms?

     We usually see rainbow during rainy, when the sun behind us.  Kids get happy that time.  We get wonder and think, how it forms?          Before that we all should know about prism.  Prism is a 3 dimensional triangle shape glass.  When a white light passes through the prism, the light disperse into VIBGYOR colours( Violet, Indigo, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Red ).                  Now come to the question.  Actually, the rainbow forms by the droplets .  Each droplets act as a prism.  Each one disperse VIBGYOR colour .      We can ask, each droplet acting as a prism means, we should see more than thousands of rainbows.  But, we seeing only one or two rainbows.  Why?      Because, each droplets disperse VIBGYOR colour in different angle .  We can't able to see the rainbow at any angle.  Rather we can see the rainbow at suitable angle .  For example,  consider one droplet at 42 degree, that dispersing VIBGYOR colour.  But, only red colour visible to our eyes .  Other colours

Can cloud form a star?

      The answer is yes .  Cloud can from a star .         We can see so many stars in the sky at night.  We know that stars are huge fire balls and it has high amount of heat and light.  But, we may not know how it forms?          Stars are formed by the clouds called nebulae or black nebulae (this cloud consist of dust and gas), which present in the space.  It consist of Hydrogen(H) and Helium(He) molecules and some other particles and it is cold.  Whenever the supernova explosion(it happens at end of the star cycle) takes place, it makes shock waves and it releases huge amount of energy, towards cloud. (What is gravity?  An invisible force that pulls objects towards each other.  Every object in space having its own gravity.)      This cloud having its own gravity.  Due to the huge amount of energy, the cloud get gravitational disturbance .  And it begins to collapse on itself.  It causes H and He molecules to gather in the mid of a cloud.  It increase the mass in the mid of the c

The Universe is full of stars, then why the space is black?

          Why the space is black?   There is no one, to pay the electric bill or there may not be any source to give light in space.  This may be a funny answer.  But the actual reason it isn't.         To know the answer, we should know about Doppler effect and Red shift.      To know the Doppler effect in simple way, just consider, you standing in a road side and an ambulance crossing you.  So many of them may get experience in that, the siren sound is higher when the ambulance moving towards us and the sound get lower and lower, when it is moving away from us .        The reason behind is the wavelength of the sound.  If the wavelength is longer the sound get lower and if the wavelength is shorter the sound get higher.  What is wavelength?  The distance between two waves (If you throw a stone in a water, you can observe the waves).        In this picture, you can observe the man standing towards the ambulance receiving high sound due to shorter wavelength.  And woman away fr
